Dear Counselling Clients,

I wanted to inform you of some upcoming changes for the 2023 year, as I have been waiting until I had more information to give everyone and some time to process everything before making any decisions for moving forward with counselling this year. 

I have decided to make the difficult decision of putting my private practice on hold as of February 1, 2023 until further notice due to unexpected health circumstances, as it has impacted and limited my ability to practice in the community. 

I have enjoyed working as a counsellor over the past couple of years in the Saskatchewan community working with individuals to help solve how to overcome some of life’s greatest challenges in mental health. Each one of my clients holds a special place in my heart – and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to share our time, stories, and healing with each other. My hope is that something in therapy – even a small tidbit of information might be helpful in healing – and I hope that you share the wealth of information to those around you too. 

Please let me know if there is anything specific that you would like me to do or if there is anything I can do to help support this transition. 

In the meantime, I plan on keeping my website up and running throughout the year and I plan on posting regular FREE mental health tips each month for consideration on the Alternative Counselling blog. In upcoming weeks I will be opening up a new portion of the website that features some great work done surrounding mental health for you to access with various topics for free as well.

If things bend, shift, and move to open up again in the future – I will post it on the Alternative Counselling website. 

Thank you for all of the support during the 2022 year, and I wish everyone health and healing in 2023.
