PsyD candidate pursuing psychologist career says there are too many barriers in Sask.
College of Psychologists vs Jordan B Peterson | Mikhaila Peterson | EP 322
*There are many barriers for those to become psychologists in Saskatchewan (especially ANYONE low-income). Although I do not agree with all of the personal views in this or from Dr. Peterson himself, I think it is an important discussion to have in our culture and for working professionals to consider. His work has helped millions of people, yet his license is threatened to be taken away despite years study, investment, clinical work, and lecturing done. We will have no professionals left if this happens regularly. I hear concerns of this working with professionals on a regular basis, as well as the need for better regulation in provinces across Canada for safe and effective evidence-based therapy.
